Kaleb Girma
In the following paragraphs I would like to write my autobiography shortly. My name is Kaleb Girma. I was born in 1991 in the southern part of Ethiopia in Hossana twon. My father’s name is Girma Deresse, my mother’s name is Yewerkweha Mekuriya. I have three sisters and two brothers, My sisters' names are elihom Girma , Rediet Girma and Ruth Girma. My brothers are Nathan Girma and Yishak Girma. I am the fourth child for my parents. I am married and my wife is called Rediet Ermako. since my parents are protestants I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior while I was a child. I have grown up in a Christian family and society. From my childhood I served in Choir and teach children.
Since I have understood my calling, I joined Meserete Kiristos Bible College Debrezeit and graduated in Bible and Christian ministry in BA in 2014. Immediately, I continued my studies at Mekane Yesus Seminary Adiss Ababa in 2015. I graduated in MA in 2016 in systematic Theology field. God has called me for fulltime ministry. Therefore from 2016 I am serving in Hossana twon that far 230 K.M from Adiss Ababa. Now I am serving in Semen MEserete Kiristos Church. I have a great burden for teenagers. I am serving church by being a children and teenage pastor. In this ministry I give trainings and counseling for teenage and children pasters in different evangelical churches. My vision is to see teenagers grow in every direction into Christ. I use trainings, writings and teachings in order to achieve my vision. Ethiopia has 109 million people and the second most populous in Africa. 43% Orthodox, 33% Muslim 2.6% traditional faith, 0.7% Catholic, and 0.7 Judaism. 25% of the population are teenagers. Therefore I believe working on teenagers will change the country.
