 This has been an extraordinary year for Legacy Minded Men. Our objectives of “engaging, encouraging, and equipping men” to be what God has called them to be have been met; and we continue in our desire to be responsive to God’s leading.

Because this has been the most fruitful year we have had since our beginning four years ago, we are writing to ask that you consider a donation of thanks and appreciation to help support this ministry. As you may be aware, we have been very low key with regard to finances since beginning Legacy Minded Men and God has been faithful in meeting our needs. As the ministry expands, so must our resources. After reviewing some of this past year’s highlights below, we’d ask you to give consideration to a donation to help us begin 2012 from a position of strength so we can “do more; for more men”.

• In the 4 Man Conferences we held this year, over 1,000 men have encountered some incredible and challenging messages and based on their testimonies; many lives have been transformed.
• In our last two Man Conferences in Wyckoff and Cranford, we saw over 100 men rise to the challenge to receive healing and step into being the man they were never told they could be. Large numbers of men whose dads were either absent or never known received healing and empowerment to move confidently with the approval of their “heavenly father.”
• In our Next-Gen-Men conference, we watched young men worship with passion and make decisions to pursue God fervently. We look forward to another similar event in 2012 impacting many more young men who display a hunger to live and serve our Lord.
• Over the past five months our Morning Prayer calls have been a blessing to many. We have completed 36 calls as of this writing and it is incredible how God continues to put a hunger in men’s hearts “to seek Him early.” Men are pressing into the Lord, His word, and strengthening their relationships with each other and Him. This outreach truly reflects the heart of our work because “apart from Him, we can do nothing.” Information on how to participate and listen in on these calls can be found at legacymindedmen.org.
• Myself and Lee Rouson have held “Huddle Up” training seminars at various churches and have also spoken at a couple of retreats. Feedback from the pastors and participants has been remarkable and requests continue to come in for more.
• We have crossed age barriers. We’ve broken down religious walls. Ethnic barriers have been smashed and the lies perpetrated on men have been broken.
• In the summer, our leadership team went on a retreat and men really began to know each other. Our team is committed to growing in Christ and leading from His strength based on values.
• Finally, our inaugural banquet last spring was a huge success. Many had commented to our leadership team that they didn’t expect more than 75 to 100 people. When 308 folks showed for the dinner, their presence alone was confirmation that Legacy Minded Men was a growing force in the Body of Christ in Northern Jersey. Our next banquet has been set for February 29th, 2012. Information will follow on that shortly.
